Building Blocks

At MinistryEquip, we're developing a four-phase plan to propel us forward towards meeting the needs of church leaders. We recognize that MinistryEquip's vision is ambitious, but with God's timing and careful planning, we can correctly place the building blocks that will lead to a great foundation and a long-term structure for success.

Phase One

Phase One of our Building Blocks includes two primary tasks: spreading the word about our ministry, and getting the foundational website into service. In this key initial phase, we are sharing the MinistryEquip dream with as many prayer and financial supporters as possible. At the same time, our tech team will work to build and put up the first stage of ministryequip.com. In this stage we'll develop a ministry "watering hole", a place for people to gather and experience the first-stage social network, blogs by important leaders, and a selection of popular podcasts. To build a foundation for the later stages of counsulting and shepherding, we plan to draw a crowd and begin conversations about issues that resonate with church leaders today. In the beginning, this will be the primary focus of ministryequip.com.

Phase Two

In Phase Two, we plan to meet and connect with many leaders and encourage them to sign up for Level One membership at ministryequip.com. Key to this process will be connections made at conventions, conferences, and other Christian events. We have also laid the groundwork for the use of Facebook, Twitter, an iPhone application, and other technologically innovative means of communication. Finally, and most importantly, we'll rely on word of mouth and user recommendation to grow our network of leaders.
At this point, we will also begin establishing affiliate and reciprocal relationships with a wide range of product vendors and resource producers. In time this will become the basis for our marketplace. Additionally, we'll begin to offer benefit services to our membership, including resources for health benefits, retirement planning, staffing solutions, and more.
Finally, this phase will reach completion as we begin to develop our own original content. MinistryEquip content, all digital in nature, will be based in part on membership feedback and focus groups.

Phase Three

Phase Three will be dedicated to the full development of the website. MinistryEquip.com has the potential to serve our network of leaders in an almost infinite number of ways. The centerpiece of our site, which we expect to become known for, is the ME Market. The ME Market will feature the latest in search technology coupled with a comprehensive archive of articles, products, downloadable audio and video, and more. Network members will be able to comment on and recommend products and resources to one another, and purchase them through MinistryEquip. Phase Four

After the stage has been set by Phases One through Three, Phase Four will signal the development and implementation of the MinistryEquip Shepherding System. We will identify and train shepherds from within our network of leaders to go out and work with other congregations. Our community will exist to serve other
